Premium Member 2and3cylinders Posted December 12, 2017 Premium Member Share Posted December 12, 2017 I’m about 290 geared up and when I go on cross country trips with soft saddle bags, a tail bag, and a tank bag I regularly run 70+ for miles and miles I still average around 50mpg. Big Frog country, where's dat? Only way I could get close to 50 mpg is tucked behind an OEM-size DB wind screen, in a skintight suit, running non-ethanol gas, sliding all down hill with a tail wind!
