duhs10
Not an adventure bike but it doesn’t have to be a pavement queen either. That conti trail attack looks massive... they pretty good on the road too? '15 FJ-09 w/ lots of extras... Fayetteville, GA, USA
Guest highplainsrider
That conti trail attack looks massive... they pretty good on the road too?I like them alot. Really a 90% street tire but I made it up a short steep section of loose dirt without any issues. On the road, they warm up quick and stick better than the oem tires. 4K on them so far and they seem to be wearing well. I might buy them again if I decide not to try the TKC-70 tires next. steg
First ride with a group of old friends. Had a blast. Now time for the initial service (and maybe some more accessories).
steg
Was the Datsun part of the group? So much potential... . I know... I know... but it's only just one wheel more than the Niken, and way better looking. Yes, it is part of the group. It was sitting in some guy’s backyard for 17 years, and we went down and rescued it a few years ago. It’s being improved slowly but surely. Heres the 69 2000 I restored years back. Also had a 67 1/2 low windshield 2000. cbxdave
Many years ago I worked for a company that raced sports cars. I forget the class that the Datsun's ran in but those little cars were fast! There wasn't many of them though.
panooch
Years ago an event took place for several years in Mt. Shasta CA that brought Canadians down and western state owners together. I believe I remember over 100 cars in one place. Have photos someplace, 35 mm for those that remember that format. Supporting Member texscottyd Posted July 12, 2018 Supporting Member Share Posted July 12, 2018 We should stop talking cars now and return to regular programming. Entirely my fault... I'm enjoying this little diversion... in the early 1980's I was a high school kid in Southern California, riding a CB400F SuperSport Honda, and working alternately on my Datsun 510 and Datsun 1600. Great cars, fun times.
