Supporting Member texscottyd Posted October 10, 2018 Supporting Member Share Posted October 10, 2018 You're outrageously organized. Actually, my mechanic is outrageously organized & borderline obsessive/compulsive. Me personally, not so much...

Supporting Member betoney Posted October 11, 2018 Supporting Member Share Posted October 11, 2018 @ffdriver2 I noticed that you have the Puig front deflectors. Those things are hideously expensive for a piece of plastic, do they do anything? or just for looks? ***2015 Candy Red FJ-09***
raggededge
Hey thanks much. That helps. I might just add that to the Farkle list.

Those things are hideously expensive for a piece of plastic, do they do anything? or just for looks? Yes they are expensive for what they are. And as far as I can tell they really don't do anything but add a bit of coverage to the ugly open area behind the headlight, which has always bothered me for some reason. It looked unfinished. Kinda like they got bored or it was a Friday before a 3 day weekend and they said F**k it that's good enough. :-/ I like the look of them, but really for what they are they should be $50-$70. Premium Member coachluciano Posted October 11, 2018 Premium Member Share Posted October 11, 2018 For a moment wished my FJ was a KZ. I'm 51 and the very first bike I went over 100mph (112 to be exact) on was a 1977 Kawasaki KZ900. I was 12 at the time and was a passenger - something no parent in a million years would allow a 12 year old to do today. We have a drive-in bike / bar park in Rochester and when I saw this pull in yesterday i was overwhelmed with "blast from the past" emotions. Immediately went over and talked to the owner, as I wasn't sure if it was brand new or in fact a 1977. It's a pristine 1977 - immaculate would be a better description. Motor just rebuilt and bored out - so now it's even faster than it was. - lol. 2015 FJ-09 - Andreani Cartridges, Ohlins 535 Rear Shock, LightTech Chain Adjusters, Yoshi Fender Eliminator, Blaster-X Integrated Tail Light/Blinkers, Full Yoshi Exhaust, Ivan's Flash, Bagster Seat, Rizoma: (Bar, Grips, Bar Ends, Mirrors, Oil Cap, Rear Pegs) Bremob Corsa Corta Master Cylinder, Bremob RCS19 Hadraulic Clutch, GPR Steering Damper, Speigler Hydraulic Lines, EBC Brake Pads, Puig Screen, HealTech Quick Shifter, MPG Rearset, XSR900 Slipper Clutch, Driven Racing Halo Gas Cap, SW-Motch Front / Rear Axel Sliders, R1 Rotors / 320mm Kit Conversion. I have loved the Pilot Road 4s that these are replacing (7,411 miles of rather spirited use), and everything I’ve heard makes me think the PR5s are going to be even better.
