koth442
Will you understand? The cartridges in each fork leg are different I see. Are you doing maintenance or a re-valve? '15 FJ09

Supporting Member betoney Posted February 23, 2018 Supporting Member Share Posted February 23, 2018 Revalving by @pattonme diy kitYou are braver than I am. I'm sure I could manage the disassembly, but getting everything back together correctly would make me nervous. Good luck, I'm sure you will love the results. What is your plan for the shock? ***2015 Candy Red FJ-09***
sheridan
@betoney Nitron r1 is on its way. Concerning assembly... I love to dig in such a things, but the problem is that my English is not technical enough to understand Pattonme's engineer slang. That's why I numbered all the stuff and send this photo to him. But I'm still not 100% sure that I'm doing it right. Will try to finish job tomorrow.
Supporting Member betoney Posted February 23, 2018 Supporting Member Share Posted February 23, 2018 @sheridan - if Matts DIY kit is as good as his complete forks, you are going to LOVE the result. Do you have the adjustable compression base bolt? I installed mine on the left leg (when sitting on the bike) so I just pull the axle about 2" to adjust. Small adjustments make a very noticeable change, it is a completely different ride with only 1/4 turn. ***2015 Candy Red FJ-09***

koth442
I might have to go the Pattonme DIY route when the time comes... What special tools did you need @sheridan? '15 FJ09
sheridan
Nothing special. Except dremel with 2mm drill bit. And red loctite. And another pair of hands
