Removing Ti Akro baffle

Recommended Posts

Does anyone have any feedback on the full Ti Akro exhaust without the baffle in it. I bought mine bike and the previous owner had always had it in installed. It very quiet compared to my last couple bikes. I'm looking for a little more bark. I did see a video that says I need an internal bearing puller to get it out, because it's pretty stuck.

Thanks

I have the full Akro with the baffle still in place.  I prefer it to be a bit more quiet than my Ninja 1000 which has the baffle removed.  However, I understand that many prefer it a little louder.  If yours is the same as mine where the exhaust ends under the bike like the stock design, it is a bit of a pain.  You have to drop the exhaust in order to get to a small weld that holds the baffle in place.  There are a couple of YouTube videos of this you can review.

There is nothing like spending a day riding with friends in the grip of a shared obsession.
