johnmark101
Anyone have a code reader for their Tracer to plug into the diagnostic port? If so, what have you got and is it intuitive to use. Thanks.......John There is nothing like spending a day riding with friends in the grip of a shared obsession.
draco_1967
You will need an adapter cable, like this one, and then any OBDII reader will work. I bought a cheap reader similar to this one. There are tons of options, including bluetooth OBDII readers that can display data on your phone/tablet.
lather
Can the reader do everything that an interface and laptop or smartphone can do?
skipperT
No, not compared to the Yamaha Diagnostic system. A “reader” is similar to an OBD II interface for cars. (YDT is not available to the consumer.) -Skip
