Friend of mine decided that he'd had enough of his obnoxiously loud and uncomfortable Harley (his words) and traded to a brand new Indian Springfield Dark Horse.

He thoroughly loves it.  Says the ride comfort is vastly improved along with the handling and, he can hear again. 😉

We went out today for a 130km 'bedding in' ride.

Indian makes some damn fine bikes with some damn fine engines and features, HD has for sure lost some business to them. Wish they would make something to compete with the Pan America or a true sportbike.......alas one can wish. LOL

I agree. Although Harley did step it up for the 2024 models with improved features to compete.

I do wish Indian would put that oh-so-sweet FTR 1200 motor in a Pan America or sport-touring type bike. It is such a great motor, but the FTR is very cramped and sporty for my needs. At least until I can convince Mrs. Draco that I need 3-4 bikes in the garage instead of just 2 😆
