mattemike
Yamaha USA doesn't offer an fender eliminator kit. In my experience with these on other bikes, they do involve a good bit of unbolting parts. Mostly for routing of turn sig/plate wires. Have you looked into the aftermarket at all?

xpress
I have the above fender eliminator. The stock rear fender is held in place by 4 bolts and 3 plugs. Took me about 20 minutes to remove the factory fender, bolt my new one in place, and fit my Motodynamics tail light.
