Heavy
Anyone got the R3 clutch part on their Tracer? I'd like to have the wider clutch engagement range on my 2020 GT but the R3 part is over $50 at my local dealer. The guys down south are saying around $10 for the part. Anyone in Canada found a more reasonable option? I'm not cheap (okay, I actually am cheap 😄) but the price difference is outrageous. 1 There is never enough time or money to do it right the first time. Supporting Member piotrek Posted November 3, 2022 Supporting Member Share Posted November 3, 2022 I use one from the 2015 Bolt (5S7-16340-00-00). It is a bit longer than the lever that came on my 2015 FJ (and one that comes on the 2020 GT). Cheaper at CAD $36, and might work for you. I don't know what makes the R3 lever different.
Premium Member 2and3cylinders Posted November 3, 2022 Premium Member Share Posted November 3, 2022 Tried the Bolt push lever assy and didn't like it (it created a cable geometry issue due to its longer length) but recall it being less than $20 USD a few years ago? It still is...
Heavy
Sure ... and the R3 lever is less than $11 at MR Cycles (https://www.mrcycles.com/oemparts/p/yamaha/2ms-e6340-00-00/push-lever-assy), but that's also south of the border. Different story altogether up here, in the Great White North. 1 There is never enough time or money to do it right the first time.
