Nathan
Put the bike on Center stand and in neutral gear When I spin the rear wheel, I can hear the rear pad rubbing the rotor. New Bike only got 120km The rear rotor is warm after a ride when I only use the front brake Is it normal for brake pad to rub the rotor. The wheel can still spin when on Center stand but can hear the rubbing noise https://drive.google.com/file/d/1VtUlWC_sDtZ8gi21Aa9jQZDrUhF73nKN/view?usp=drivesdk
pilninggas
All brake pads are in contact with discs [rotors], however friction only occurs once pressure is applied [think back to your physics lessons]. If the discs and pads are new then it is quite likely they are still bedding into each other. If the system is only slightly dragging on the stand, only gets warm to the touch after a ride and isnt causing the bike to slow down, then I'd say it is fine. Brake binding manifests itself as a lot of heat, smell and the brakes sticking on. Edited March 1, 2022 by pilninggas 2 1
