Thankfully, after the seat slope mod and a few hundred mile break-in period the factory seat is great for me.
The gel cushion looks comfy but how much higher does it cause you to sit? I'm 6'1" and like my seat in the low position.
If Jthayer09 still has his MRA Vario it'd be worth looking into if someone needs a good screen.
I just rode with my new Vario on the 9gt and it is nice. Wind at my helmet was much calmer than before with the screen up or down. And it was also alot quieter. I turned the volume on my old Sena 10S down several notches and could listen to the radio clearly.
Got to ride a few miles today with the new screen and it made a nice difference. The wind on my helmet with the screen in the up or down position was much cleaner and quieter than before. I rode up to around 70mph. I was able to turn the volume down while listening to the radio on my old Sena 10S.
I had overfilled the coolant reservoir thinking it was low. Siphoned some out and got it to the correct level. The light behind the reservoir works great. Thanks again for the advice.
Sorry if my description was unclear. Here's what my manual shows. The chain seems really tight when it's on the kickstand with the rear tire on the ground and some weight on the suspension. It seems it would get even tighter with my body weight on it.
I cleaned/oiled the chain and adjusted it yesterday. The manual states to adjust it while on the centerstand and to measure from the bottom of the chain guard to the center of a link with the chain pushed down.
When it's on the sidestand (kickstand) the chain seems awful tight. It'd be even tighter with my weight on it.
Any advice on how to properly set the chain or am I doing it correctly?
The manual states the slack should be 1.77" to 1.97" on the centerstand.
Are you getting death wobble on your Tracer? That first one looks nice but looks like it could make getting to the ignition switch even more inconvenient than it already is.
I have the Puig and MRA sportscreens. They both do a good job but I prefer the looks of the MRA sportscreen and it is slightly larger.
I'm not in a big hurry for it but may eventually get the MRA Vario touring screen with adjustable visor too.
